Ambrose Rachier to vie unopposed for Gor Mahia chairman position

Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier is set to retain his seat unopposed in the club’s upcoming elections, with the polls slated for April 13 at Nyayo Stadium. Only a few positions have attracted multiple candidates, according to the Elections Board.
Ambrose Rachier will vie unopposed as he seeks a new term as Gor Mahia chairman during the club’s elections scheduled for Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the Nyayo National Stadium basketball gymnasium.
Rachier, who has held the position since 2008, also vied unopposed in the 2020 elections.
His candidature was confirmed by the Gor Mahia Elections Board, which also cleared six other candidates vying for the club’s three other vacant positions: vice-chairperson, secretary general, and honorary treasurer.
