Third victim of shooting at public viewing in Kasarani identified
Jidah Baraka died from a gunshot after police fired at mourners in an attempt to bring order inside the stadium ahead of the exercise on Thursday.
Human Rights Organisation, VOCAL Africa, has identified the third victim of Thursday's shooting inside Kasarani stadium during the public viewing of Raila Odinga's body as Jidah Baraka.
"As we continue to follow up on those shot and killed at Kasarani stadium on Thursday, October 16, VOCAL Africa has today been able to identify the third victim as Jidah Burka," the organisation said.
It added that his kin have since identified his body.

"According to family members whom we met at the city mortuary this morning, Jidah was 42 years old and is survived by a wife and 3 children. The family wanted to get the body for burial immediately, as Jidah is a Muslim, but they were compelled to wait until Tuesday."
Hussein has called for justice for the families of the three, who died as mourners scampered to view the former premier.

On Friday, the second victim, Evans Onyango, was positively identified by his wife, Brendah Akoth.
The first, Vincent Otieno Ogutu, was positively identified by his father. The bodies are lying at the City mortuary.
Two more lives were lost during a stampede at Nyayo Stadium during the second day of public viewing of the body of the former Prime Minister.
An update by Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), one of the medical emergency response teams that were responding to cases at the stadium, has shown.
"On October 17, at the Nyayo Stadium field hospital, the multi-agency teams attended to 163 patients and referred 34 others for further care. Most injuries involved blunt trauma and fractures. Tragically, 2 lives were lost in the stampede that occurred today," MSF said.
The organisation added that a total of 40 patients were treated via ambulance services on Thursday.
Security agencies are yet to comment on the matter.
