Nyayo Stadium to host fourth KVF National League leg

The Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) has confirmed the dates for the fourth leg of the KVF National League, set to take place at Nyayo National Stadium. The men’s league will run from 28th February to 2nd March, followed by the women’s league from 6th to 9th March.
The Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) has confirmed the dates for the fourth leg of the KVF National League, set to take place at Nyayo National Stadium’s Indoor and Outdoor Courts in Nairobi.
The men’s league, featuring 15 teams, will run from 28th February to 2nd March, while the women’s competition, with 11 teams, is scheduled for 6th to 9th March.

Initially, the men's and women's leagues were expected to feature 16 and 12 teams, respectively. However, the men’s competition saw the withdrawal of DOD, while Lipalikes Volleyball pulled out of the women’s league, reducing the total number of teams to 15 and 11.
The men’s league will feature 15 teams: General Service Unit (GSU), AP Kenya, KAPU, National Youth Service, Western Prisons, Equity Bank, Prisons Rift Valley, Kenya Forest Service, Prisons Nairobi, Prisons Kenya, Mt. Kenya Baseyetu, Kenya Army, Kenya Defence Forces (KDF), Trailblazers, and Kenya Ports Authority.
The women’s league will have 11 teams: Kenya Pipeline, Prisons Kenya, KCB Bank, Postbank, Vihiga, Prisons Nairobi, Kenya Defence Forces (KDF), Kenya Army, DCI, Young Spykers, and Maranatha Volleyball.
KVF has issued a directive to all team managers, stressing strict adherence to match schedules and officiating requirements.
"Team managers are advised to strictly follow the match schedule. As per our regulations, all teams must be accompanied by a non-playing referee with a minimum qualification of a National Level One certificate and must be actively practising," KVF stated.
With teams now set and schedules confirmed, all eyes turn to Nyayo Stadium as clubs prepare for another competitive round of matches.
