Action begins at the Kasarani Annex where Posta Rangers welcome a Bandari FC side still searching for consistency.
The Mailmen appear to have turned a corner following the appointment of interim head coach Charles Omondi, who took over from Sammy Omolo.
Under Omondi’s guidance, Posta have gone three matches unbeaten, registering wins over Nairobi United and Bidco United, alongside a draw against APS Bomet.
The positive run has reignited belief within the squad and lifted them back into contention.
Bandari, however, arrives in Nairobi under pressure. The Dockers have endured a difficult campaign, managing only two victories so far and hovering just one point above the relegation zone.
Another change on the bench saw Moroccan tactician Mohamed Borji depart last week, with goalkeepers’ coach Razak Siwa stepping in on an interim basis.
Siwa’s first test ended in a respectable 1-1 draw against Gor Mahia, and he will be hoping to build on that performance in what could be his final match in charge.
Posta will look to key contributors such as Brian Chonjo, Jackson Dwang, Caleb Olilo, and Eliud Lokuwam, while Bandari will depend on Geoffrey Ojunga, Darius Msagha, and Abdallah Hassan to spark a turnaround.
With momentum firmly on their side, Posta Rangers head into the encounter as favourites and could climb further up the standings with another positive result.
The spotlight then shifts to Kasarani’s main pitch for an intriguing clash between KCB FC and APS Bomet, the first competitive meeting between the two sides.
KCB have steadily recovered after an inconsistent start to the season and now boast a six-match unbeaten streak, picking up three wins and three draws in that run.
The Bankers remain firmly in the title hunt, sitting three points behind leaders Kenya Police FC.
APS Bomet, meanwhile, continue to defy expectations. Although they have not won in their last four outings, the newly promoted side has shown impressive character, highlighted by a memorable 4-1 triumph over Gor Mahia at Nyayo Stadium.
Having climbed off the bottom of the table, they will be eager to prove their rise is no fluke.
Both fixtures at Kasarani are expected to deliver high intensity and could play a significant role in shaping the narrative of Round 14, as the FKF Premier League season gathers pace.
