Safaricom announces scheduled system maintenance on Sunday
Safaricom on Saturday announced scheduled maintenance on Sunday at 11 pm and until 4 am on Monday, July 15, 2024.
In a statement, the telco said the services to be affected include; Lipa na M-Pesa pay bill, purchasing goods and services, international money transfers (including Western Union), M-Pesa Global, the M-Pesa app, and the My Safaricom app.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding as we strive to provide you with the best class service,” said Safaricom in a statement shared on their X handle.
The company assured its customers that all other services, including calls, data, SMS, and other M-Pesa functionalities, will remain fully operational during the maintenance window.
Safaricom highlighted that the timing of the maintenance has been carefully scheduled to minimise inconvenience to its users.
