This digital leap aims to empower the local community and businesses by providing global connectivity, fostering economic opportunities.
During the launch, Eng John Kipchumba, the Principal Secretary for ICT and Digital Economy, conveyed that the ongoing installation of fiber optics cables in these market centers is slated for completion before the year's end. Additionally, he unveiled plans for cable extension to Kabartonjo and Kabarnet towns, covering a distance of 100 kilometers. This strategic move is anticipated to alleviate network challenges in the county.
