The middle of the rankings is occupied by Chuka University, which received 7,946 placements, narrowly ahead of Kisii University with 7,903.

The 2026 KUCCPS placement results show Kenyatta University as the most preferred institution, admitting 11,224 students. It is followed by Maseno University with 9,196 placements, Moi University with 8,869, and the University of Nairobi with 8,604, reflecting strong demand for Kenya's leading public universities.
The middle of the rankings is occupied by Chuka University, which received 7,946 placements, narrowly ahead of Kisii University with 7,903. Masinde Muliro University follows with 7,586 students, highlighting the continued appeal of universities outside the country's traditional academic hubs.
Rounding out the top 10 are the University of Eldoret with 6,671 placements, the University of Kabianga with 5,044, and Kirinyaga University with 4,784. The rankings underscore the growing demand for higher education across the country, with students enrolling in institutions spread across different regions of Kenya.
