After a cagey first half, the game burst into life after the break. Gambia struck twice in quick succession, with Musa Barrow opening the scoring in the 54th minute before Yankuba Minteh doubled the lead in the 60th.
Kenya responded in style. Captain Michael Olunga converted a penalty in the 67th minute, and substitute Mohamed Bajaber curled in a stunning equaliser seven minutes later.

Barrow restored Gambia’s lead in the 83rd minute, but Harambee Stars refused to go down. Deep into stoppage time, debutant William Wilson pounced in the 96th minute to snatch a point for Kenya.
The result leaves Harambee Stars with plenty to build on as they continue their qualification campaign.
