The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has announced that tickets for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier match between Kenya and Gabon have been sold out.
“All tickets for our FIFA World Cup qualifier against Gabon are officially sold out,” FKF said.

The match, which will be Harambee Stars' first competitive home match since November 2021, will be played on Sunday at the Nyayo National Stadium. The match will kick off at 4 pm.
"We urge fans who have not bought tickets to watch matches on television. KBC will broadcast the match for free," FKF CEO Harold Ndege said before stating that the federation, in collaboration with security agencies, has put adequate measures in place to ensure only fans who have a ticket access the match venue.
Ndege was speaking at a press conference held at the Nyayo National Stadium. He was accompanied by Caroline Kariuki, the Deputy Director for Sports, at the State Department for Sports in the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy, and Sports.
"We will have a security buffer extending to within a radius of 300-500 metres from the stadium to ensure that only fans with a ticket access the venue," Ndege said.
FKF had made 21,900 tickets available for sale. Among them were 100 VVIPs going for Sh10,000. VIP tickets, which were 1,800 in number, were sold at Sh1,000. The remaining 21,000 were for the terraces, which were purchased at Sh300.
Fans planning to drive to the stadium were also advised to only do so if they have already purchased parking tickets allowing them to use the parking facilities at the stadium.
"We advise motorists without a parking ticket to either leave their vehicles or park them at another place near the stadium," Ndege said.
Ndege also addressed concerns raised by fans, who criticised FKF's pricing model as unfair to young children.
"In the future we will consider pricing categories that will see children paying less for a ticket than adults," Ndege said.
Harambee Stars had been forced to host their home matches at neutral venues across the continent after CAF declared Kasarani and Nyayo unfit to host international matches.
To tap into the excitement of fans anticipating Harambee Stars playing on home soil yet again, FKF have made arrangements for music and entertainment that will keep fans engaged ahead of kick-off at 4 pm.
The main act will likely be Savara from the Sauti Sol musical group.
"Other than Savara, we will also have acts. There will also be a DJ playing music," Ndege said before hinting that FKF has planned a surprise entertainment act to engage fans at halftime.
"We have also planned an engagement at halftime, but I will not share much about it," Ndege said.
On her part, Caroline Kariuki stated the return of Harambee Stars to playing matches at home affirmed the government's commitment to support the growth and development of sports in the country.
"The government is committed to supporting the national team and is impressed with its performance. The government has also supported preparations for this match, and all is set for tomorrow," Kariuki said.
Renovations at Nyayo, constructed in 1983, have seen the match venue become an all-seater stadium. The main stand also has a designated media tribune, and the player's tunnel has a canopy.
