Chipukeezy gained prominence through his performances on the Churchill Show, where his Kamba accent and humour made him a household name.
His success on the platform opened up numerous opportunities, propelling his career forward.
Over the years, he has built a close association with the Kenya Kwanza administration, frequently serving as an MC at presidential events.
Previously, he was appointed to the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) board during former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s tenure.
Born and raised in Tala, Machakos County, Chipukeezy attended Kwatombe Primary School before proceeding to Masii and Tala high schools.
During his school years, he actively participated in drama club activities, earning admiration from teachers and fellow students for his witty performances and creative storytelling.
His passion for comedy led him to join a local theatre group performing set book plays for high schools. He later transitioned to Heartstrings, a well-known theatre production, where he appeared eight times as a warm seat narrator.
Through his earnings from acting, he eventually enrolled at the East African School of Media Studies, further sharpening his skills.
