Kalonzo Musyoka says opposition leaders did not abandon grieving mothers during the Gen Z memorial, claiming they left together after laying flowers and were blocked from accessing Parliament.

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has dismissed claims that opposition leaders abandoned grieving mothers during the commemoration of the Gen Z protests, saying they left the venue together after laying flowers in honour of those killed.
Speaking in Namanga at the Kenya-Tanzania border, Kalonzo said the commemoration was successful despite the arrest and assault of some participants. He also claimed that opposition leaders were prevented from accessing Parliament to lay flowers in memory of victims of last year's protests.
