Defenders Coalition is calling for the immediate and unconditional release of human rights defender Allan Ademba, who was arrested while observing the ongoing Ol Kalou parliamentary by‑election.
The Coalition confirmed that Ademba was arrested at around 9:00 am at the AC Comprehensive School Polling Station and is being held at the Ol Kalou Police Station/DCI offices without formal processing or a clear legal basis for his arrest.
